
Africa Tech Summit Nairobi will host an Investment Showcase on February 14‑15, where ten African ventures will present their solutions to a crowd of investors, tech leaders and industry experts.
Ten ventures win a spot in the showcase
The sixth edition of the summit received more than 250 entries from across the continent. After a review process, ten firms were selected, covering fintech, agri‑tech, e‑commerce, Web3 and climate‑tech. Each aims to raise between US$500,000 and US$15 million.
Kenyan companies bring climate and beauty tech
Four of the chosen firms are based in Kenya. Node Bio uses plant science to create crop treatments that mitigate climate‑related damage. Tausi App links beauticians with clients through a mobile platform. Peercarbon combines emissions data with sustainable finance tools to help SMEs manage carbon footprints. URBANET focuses on promoting international dialogue about development projects worldwide.

Nigeria contributes four firms to the roster.
Bingtellar builds payment infrastructure for freelancers, remote workers and businesses worldwide. Dukka digitises payments and bookkeeping for small enterprises. Feegor runs a B2B e‑commerce marketplace linking SMEs to manufacturers and large wholesalers. Regxta works to bring financial services to underserved rural and peri‑urban communities.
From Egypt, Valu offers a Buy Now Pay Later platform that has become a leading fintech service in the MENA region. Uganda’s FutureLink Technologies operates a digital marketplace that simplifies financial access for individuals and supports payments for financial cooperatives.

The selection reflects a broad geographic spread.
Investor outlook for the two‑day event
More than 1,000 delegates, including local and international investors, are expected to attend. The showcase provides a platform for the ten firms to pitch directly to potential backers, with many seeking seed to growth‑stage capital.
